For over 20 years, our award-winning festival has welcomed thousands of visitors from all over North America to the beautiful lakeside town of Kincardine to join us in celebrating all things Scottish.
The Festival & Community Groups
We are proud to work with and receive support from the Municipality of Kincardine and a number of community groups such as KDSS Robotics Club , the Kincardine Theatre Guild, Bluewater Summer Playhouse, Community Living Kincardine & District, Royal Canadian Legion MacDonald Br. 183 Kincardine, and the Kincardine Scottish Pipe Band.
Accountability
The Kincardine Scottish Festival & Highland Games is a not for profit incorporated organization run by a volunteer Board elected by our members. All proceeds are turned back into the operation of the Festival. The Festival has one part-time paid staff member, the Event Manager, while the remainder of the work is done by volunteers. An Annual Report is available to members upon request.

Festival Executive
The Kincardine Scottish Festival & Highland Games relies on the generous donation of time, skill, and passion from over 300 volunteers. Our Executive is a team of dedicated volunteers who, together with the support of our Event Manager, organize the Festival throughout the year to bring the best experience possible for our visitors. If you see one of the Exec during the Festival, please feel free to stop them and say hello!
