After 20 years together, Juno nominated singer-songwriting duo, Madison Violet, are as much wanderers as they are musicians. THE SCREAMING ORPHANS

The Screaming Orphans are four sisters with the good fortune to have been raised in the magic of Bundoran in County Donegal, Ireland. There is a great tradition of music to be found in Irish homes especially in the Gaeltacht or Irish-speaking areas which have produced the likes of Clannad, Enya and Mairead, Micheal and Triona Ni Dhomhnaill. Our home was no exception. From we were young, we've been singing and playing traditional Irish music but when we hit our teenage years we knew it was time to start our own pop rock band.

21an9 v01

21 AND 9

21and9 is a rock band from Kincardine, Ontario. Original members of the band, Rob Edwards and John Culbert have been writing and performing songs together since childhood. Through the years it was common for Rob to host social gatherings and jam sessions with friends. This eventually lead to the addition of local drummer, Dane Dunlop, and lead guitarist, Zach Brajuha (Rob's neighbour). The band mainly played together privately as a hobby until 2018, until the band was invited to play a set at a large birthday party for a popular local musician. This set received positive reception and kicked off the first of many requests for the band to play live. The band worked hard to write more original material, and started performing live shows at every opportunity.

Days before their first show, the band remained nameless. For their first show, the band decided on a name that pays homage to the place they all now call home (pictured below), and the rest is history.

In 2021, 21and9 released their debut album titled So... The album was recorded, mixed, and mastered by Juno award winner, Siegfried Meier. The band is currently working on a second full album set to release in summer 2023.

Band Members (Left to Right):

  • Dane Dunlop (Drums/Back-up Vocals)
  • Zach Brajuha (Lead Guitar/Back-up Vocals)
  • Rob Edwards (Lead Singer/Rhythm Guitar)
  • John Culbert (Bass/Back-up Vocals)

Dark Angel Blues Band

On the road and in the studio, Dark Angel captures the rough and ready spirit of traditional blues. After years in Canada’s most famous blues clubs, brightly lit studios and all-night house parties, Dark Angel’s performances are always electrifying, authentic and a whole lot of fun.
Kincardine is special for Dark Angel. Kincardine has, for thirty years, echoed to the classic tone and swinging beat of the Dark Angels. It is here in Bruce County that the band perfected its unique brand of jump blues and deep soul. It is here that many members of the band call a second home.
Muddy Waters, Howlin’ Wolf, T-Bone Walker, Tyrone Davis – hear them come to life in Dark Angel’s gritty vocals, wailing saxophone and harmonica and blistering guitar.

Exceptional music and “standing on the tables” excitement makes a Dark Angel show something not to be missed.
