Help Support our local Food Bank at the festival this year.

This year, your visit to the Kincardine Scottish Festival can do even more good—right here at home.
We’re proud to announce that the 2025 Kincardine Scottish Festival will be supporting the Kincardine Food Bank as part of our community outreach efforts. As you enjoy the music, the tartans, the pipes, and the camaraderie, we invite you to also lend a helping hand to those in need.
How You Can Help
Festival-goers are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items to donate. Some of the most needed items include:
- Canned vegetables, soups, and stews
- Pasta and pasta sauces
- Canned meats and fish
- Peanut butter and jam
- Cereal and granola bars
- Baby formula and diapers
- Toiletries and hygiene products
Where to Drop Off Your Donations
Look for the designated donation bin just inside the festival gates. Volunteers will be on hand to collect your items and ensure they’re delivered safely to the Kincardine Food Bank.

The Kincardine Food Bank
Established in 1991, the Kincardine Food Bank provides compassionate assistance to all community members facing food insecurity. It can happen to anyone - people on social assistance, people with disabilities, seniors, families, seasonal workers and individuals. We have been providing food and personal hygiene products in a dignified setting continuously for 34 years to individuals and families living in our catchment area in the Municipalities of Kincardine and Huron Kinloss. In 2024, over 5000 individuals accessed the services available on a monthly, weekly or occasional basis. Included in this number were families, singles, and seniors. One third of those receiving support were children under the age of 17. So far this year, the numbers continue to grow.
The Kincardine Food Bank is a registered charity and is staffed by a dedicated group of volunteers. It is funded solely through the generous donations of our local businesses, community members and residents. The Food Bank is open every Thursday, all year round, from 10am-1pm and is located at 421 Russell St. in the Church of the Messiah.
Our email address is kincardinefoodbank@gmail.com
Whether you bring a single can or a whole bag, every contribution makes a difference.
Let’s celebrate our heritage and our community spirit together. Thank you for being part of something bigger.
