Event Terms and Conditions
By Purchasing Tickets, you agree to the following terms:
- The Kincardine Scottish Festival & Highland Games (KSF) is a Rain or Shine event.
- All entry and alcohol ticket sales are FINAL. NO REFUNDS. NO EXCHANGES. NO EXCEPTIONS.
- KSF is not responsible for lost, stolen or misplaced entry or alcohol tickets.
- KSF maintains a ZERO TOLERANCE policy from any form of threatening, violent, aggressive, abusive or harassing behavior. Anyone in violation of this policy will be directed to leave or will be removed from the KSF grounds. Depending on the severity of the violation, Police may be contacted and an individual(s) permanently barred from the KSF.
- Admission Fee is applicable to all persons entering KSF grounds and those persons must purchase or be in possession of and subject to inspection by KSF personnel a valid ticket, KSF I.D. or undamaged and intact wristband in order for entry to be permitted.
- All persons on KSF grounds MUST wear and keep visible at all times valid and approved KSF I.D. or wristband issued by the KSF.
- No Pets are permitted on Festival grounds. Certified service animals excepted.
- No Smoking, No Vaping on KSF grounds.
- No Bags larger then 10 inches are permitted. All bags are subject to visual inspection by Security personnel prior to entry to KSF grounds.
- As per the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) and the Liquor Licence and Control Act (LLCA):
- It is a violation to sell or serve alcohol in Ontario to anyone under the age of 19. Additionally, any individuals selling, serving, handling or delivering alcohol must be at least 18 years of age.
- Persons entering Festival ground may be requested to produce government-issued Photo I.D. in order to verify age and identify.
- No outside alcohol and/or illegal substances are permitted to be brought onto or consumed on KSF grounds.
- All alcohol must be consumed within the secure licensed area.
- Removal or consumption of alcohol outside of the licensed and secured area is prohibited.
- Intoxicated or disorderly persons will be denied entry and/or will be removed from the KSF grounds. - Non-compliance with this or any other KSF Policy & Regulations may be result in the removal or denial of entry to KSF grounds.
NOTICE CONSENT AND RELEASE:
- All persons HEREBY ASSUME ALL OF THE RISKS OF PARTICIPATING IN ANY/ALL ACTIVITIES being conducted at the Kincardine Scottish Festival & Highland Games. Including by way of example and not limitation, any risks that may arise from negligence or carelessness on the part of the persons or entities being released, from dangerous or defective equipment or property owned, maintained, or controlled by them, or because of their possible liability without fault. KSF is not responsible for any loss, personal injury or damages to anyone howsoever they may arise in relation to participation in the KSF.
- All persons HEREBY ACKNOWLEDGE AND AGREE that by entering and participating in the Kincardine Scottish Festival & Highland Games, that photographic portraits, pictures, video, audio recordings and motion picture footage, or other media may be taken and may be used by the Kincardine Scottish Festival & Highland Games, their agents and representatives, successors and assigns and/or those for whom they are acting and those acting with their authority and permission for promotional purposes in any of their brochures, postcards, advertisements, website, etcetera. You release the Kincardine Scottish Festival & Highland Games and their agents and representatives, successors and assigns and/or those for whom they are acting and those acting with their authority and permission and agree to waive any and all claims that the festival have or may have in the future in respect of the use of the photographic portraits, pictures, video, audio recordings and motion picture footage, including any payment by way of cash or other types of payment or remuneration for any of the above-mentioned purposes.
