2023 Festival & The Big Dig

As you may know, this year the Kincardine Scottish Festival will be faced with some challenges due to the Queen St. Revitalization Project, AKA the Big Dig! The festival will look a little different, but we have taken this as an opportunity to provide some new elements to the festival that we think you're going to love!

The Big Dig

Due to the closure of Queen St. we are not able to provide the parade this year, but look forward to continuing this next year when our beautifully new street is ready for road.This also means, that we will not be able to offer parking anywhere near or around Park. The city has made sure to provide lots of parking to keep our businesses operating and you can use these areas as indicated on the map below.

For anyone requiring it, we are pleased to offer a complimentary Bus Service.Pickups from Holiday Inn, Marriott, Best Western and the Davidson Centre for your convenience in arriving to the Festival grounds.More pick up details (including bus schedule) to come!

Gone Cashless!

For ease of use and efficiencies at the festival, we have made the decision to go cashless and will have POS systems in place throughout the festival.Not only will this help maintain a secure environment for our volunteers, but it will also help reduce wait time at the gate and at the beer tents, so it's win-win.

Security

Our festival goers safety and security is important to us to ensure we all have a great time and connect as a community! As such a few other security measures are in place:

• No bags larger than 10 inches
• First Responders on site
• Age of Majority applies on Friday and Saturday after 6pm
