Remembering Doug Kennedy

Sharing some of our remembrance's for Doug Kennedy:

On behalf of the Kincardine Scottish Festival, I'd like to share our sincerest condolences to the Kennedy family, extended family and friends.  Doug was a giant in our community and a wonderful role model for the town.  He will be sorely missed by all of us and we will never forget his selfless dedication and keen intellect.  The Festival was lucky to benefit from his generosity and advice over the years, which we sincerely appreciate and will miss with his passing.  Doug has left a wonderful legacy as a community champion and will not be forgotten.  Thank you Doug.  ~The Board of the Kincardine Scottish Festival

What a loss for our community,  friends and family.  Doug was an amazing human being and a great ambassador for our town.

Doug (and Cathy) were always willing to dedicate time to community programs including the Kincardine Scottish Festival & Highland Games.  I/we knew we could always count on his/their support and guidance when asked.  Thank you for all of your help and time and for making our town and community better by being a part of it and a leader for it.  You will be dearly missed and never forgotten.  Rest in peace.

From all of us at the Kincardine Scottish Festival & Highland Games.
